SubscriberHello support team,
We, as reseller of SpaceClaim since 2007, wants to point out to an old open bug 401468 . The bug is a very big problem to all the users who work with sheet metal. SpaceClaim is placing the unfold wrong on the drawingsheet. Please check old post here for the details .
This is a huge problem for the users. They loose tons of money because of wrongly produced parts. Once in the past we have got a reply of your team that the way SpaceClaim is treating this is correct. But you must believe it is not. As you see on this old post, which you can also find below here, users from other countries having the same issue.
This problem has had a profound effect on our user base, leading to considerable financial losses due to the production of incorrect parts. Although it has been previously communicated to us that SpaceClaim's handling of sheet metal unfolding is functioning as intended, feedback from our users and evidence from discussions in the wider SpaceClaim community clearly indicate otherwise. Users across various regions have reported the same issue, underscoring the urgency and breadth of this problem.
As you see in this old post there was created a bug. This bug must be solved as soon as possible. People are loosing so much money and are getting very frustrated.
We have a solution in mind that might can help your development team to solve the issue. It would be great if we can get in touch with you, info@aesc.nl.
