SubscriberHello everyone,
I wanted to share an experience of unintended parameter transformation into other parameters that I encountered with SpaceClaim. I hope some of you might be able to provide insights or solutions.
Issue: In SpaceClaim, when adding dimension parameters for adjustments, some parameters were transformed unexpectedly into dimensions that were not required (see video link: Unpredictable Parameter Transformation Issue in ANSYS SpaceClaim - YouTube ). This situation seems to have a negative impact on the modeling process and on SpaceClaim's ability to provide an intuitive user experience, especially from a parametric logic standpoint.
Questions:
- Have any of you encountered a similar issue with parameter management in SpaceClaim?
- Are there any solutions or tips to ensure that the addition of parameters is done accurately and consistently?
I am open to any suggestions, experiences, or advice you might share on this topic. Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards, GroFaignan

SubscriberHello Charles,
If I understand correctly, you are trying to define parameter for an edge pull? What is the intension here? Instead of choosing the edge, if you select the face instead it should work.
Regards.
