Unable to install Ansys Electronics Desktop Student

  I have unzipped the download and run setup.exe as Administrator. After installing all of the files I get an error message: "Failed to locate C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Temp\{758506F6-1077-4D7A-BD2D-93A57C58BCD0}\{2427809e-e557-47df-813d-22a52bc0e646}\ansoft_registry_edit.exe. Internal error.". I have verified the folder exists but not the file. After I click OK all installed files are removed. (I have starred out my profile name in the path)

  Check your virus protection to see if it is blocking/deleting the exe during installation

  Stopping the antivirust did not help. What I did was as the installer was running, I marked the directory that was going to be deleted as read-only. The installer then worked
