SubscriberI am using Solidworks 2022-2023 and have created a basic part, saved as a SLDPRT. Â When I use workbench and Geometry -> Import Geometry I get a green check mark, but when I double-click to open the geometry I get "Unable to import the specified geometry into SpaceClaim. Input file version not supported."Â
I tried the solidworks "save as Parasolid" V30 fix I found in these posts, but that is an unsatisfying solution for software that costs this much. Â
Even though I am a professor at a engineering school that pays a lot of money for this software, they now tell me that I am not entitled to support beyond posting questions on this forum. Â Also unsatisfying.

Ansys EmployeePlease use latest version 2022R2 for SpaceClaim. Please check the latest version of solid works and parasolid supported by SpaceClaim in the help manual.Â
Go to File - SpaceClaim options - File options - Workbench and use 'Always use SpaceCLaim's reader when possible'.Â

Keyur

SubscriberOn 2022/R1: I tried
Go to File - SpaceClaim options - File options - Workbench and use 'Always use SpaceCLaim's reader when possible'.
Then I tried to import the file, but it did not solve the problem.
I am working on getting 2022/R2 and will report back when I have tried that version.

SubscriberUpdate: 2022/R2 works fine, so apparently the bug was fixed in R2, but existed in R1.
