August 5, 2023 at 10:04 amAbasiodiong Jackson SubscriberHi, I am unable to extract the mass and stiffness matrices of my model on ANSYS 2022 R2 with the basic apdl commands  *SMAT,MatKS,D,IMPORT,FULL,file.full,STIFF*PRINT,MatKS,Ksparse.txtÂeven though I have done this in the past on a different ANSYS version and I have seen someone achieve this with the 2022 R2 version. I see the following lines in the solution outputÂEXPAND ALL EXTRACTED MODES
Â DO NOT CALCULATE ELEMENT RESULTS
Â DO NOT COMBINE ELEMENT SAVE DATA FILES (.esav) AFTER DISTRIBUTED PARALLEL SOLUTION
Â DO NOT COMBINE ELEMENT MATRIX FILES (.emat) AFTER DISTRIBUTED PARALLEL SOLUTION
Â DO NOT COMBINE ASSEMBLED MATRIX FILES (.full) AFTER DISTRIBUTED PARALLEL SOLUTIONÂ I wonder if it has anything to do with my my settings and configuration. I would really appreciate some help.

August 7, 2023 at 12:21 pmAshish Khemka Forum ModeratorHi, Can you please check the DMPOPTION command? The DMPOPTION command controls how solution files are written during a distributed memory parallel (Distributed ANSYS) solution. This command is most useful for controlling how results files (.RST,.RTH, etc.) are written. Regards, Ashish Kumar
