I'm working on a net model and I'd like to make each edge of the net a link element that only allows force in tension. I tried adding a Mechanical APDL script in the solution section, but the Target keeps highlighting in yellow and I get a question mark in the model tree. I'm also still trying to work out the correct APDL commands to make my edges in my named selection into links. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'm using Explicit Dynamics in Ansys Workbench 2021 R2. Thanks!

Perhaps you should insert these commands into the beam body where matid would still be defined. Why does et,matid,167 say it is creating link180?

Hello -- I realized that I need to use LS-DYNA commands since I'm using an explicit dynamics model. I had link180 in the comments by mistake -- I need to use link167. I added an LS-DYNA command snippet directly to my line body, but I'm not sure what commands I need to make the edges into link167 elements.
