Hi, I am trying to calculate the residence time. Firstly, can I use pathline time?
Secondly, I followed all the steps here getsolutionfile (ansys.com) and the UDS residuals are ALWAYS ZERO, what should I do? TBH, I am not sure about step 5. Below are screenshots of my entries.
Â
Thanks a lot.

Hi: You are supposed to hook that source to the user scalar source term

Thank you so much.
So instead of using mass source, I will be using scalar sourcem right?
If so, I think we may need to change step 5 in the pdf file mentioned above.Â
5. Under Source Terms, enable (Mass) sources and specify the fluid density (If the density varies by location, you can use a UDF).
