In the Fluent solidification & melting model, the liquid fraction can be accessed in the udf using the following macro: CLIQF(c,t) c, t is the following variables, respectively: cellt: c Thread: *t C_LIQF is available only in fluid cells and only if solidification is turned ON

Is there a UDF macro to get the liquid fraction when using the solidification & melting model?

i have multiphase (vof) and solidification models. but can not see liquid fraction in post-processing.

You will see it if you choose the phase where solidification or melting occurs.

In the results of Ansys fluent 16.2, I can see the liquid fraction of the solidification/melting process, but in cfd-post there is no entry for solidification/melting in the drop-down list. kindly help me

You need to export it explicitly. Go File Export Solution and the rest is intuitive.
