SubscriberThe Fluent postprocessed XYPlot files for a 2D Line are all 0 for Production of k but the CFDPost results for the same 2D Line are finite.
Any reason why this is happening?

SubscriberI am simulating a 2D axisymmetric heated pipe vertical flow of diameter 3mm and length of 0.2 m. The lines are made along the radial direction, at different axial positions, 0.06 m, 0.09 m, 0.18 m like that.

SubscriberI use the same lines for saving multiple variables, TKE, density, etc. Only Production of k has this issue. Even across the domain, when plotted contour, the Fluent shows 0 while CFD-Post shows finite values. I use k-omega SST model.

Forum ModeratorCan you check planes in the domain? What does the velocity field look like?

SubscriberIt is a 2D axisymmetric case, so no radial planes exist. But other than Pk, I have checked axial velocity, temperature, all thermophysical properties, TKE and UV everything is as per expected in a fully developed turbulent flow.
Only Pk is shown as 0 at all points.
