Hi I am using coupled field modal to perform modal analysis of a strucuture inside a fluid. To define contacts manually, i am trying to select edges of structural and acoustic region seprately and defind contact type and formulation between them, but instead getting separate contact and target bodie. i get multiple to multiple contact and ansys says them must have common physics. I used named selection technique as well. But it didnt work. There is noÂ

Hi
It is very good you are using 2D axis., as it is newly exposed (beta) into WB/Mech.
I would not use contacts.
I would suggest to use shared topology (in Spaceclaim say) and so not to have contacts.
All the best
