Transient to Fatigue Analysis

Hi, I have one simple structure on which applied pressure of 350 psig in 0.26 sec. So the simulation is conducted in transient structure and now I want to do a fatigue analysis based on the results obtained in the transient. how can I do this?n

This is not possible using the fatigue inside workbench mechanical. Other fatigue solutions (e.g., Ncode in Ansys), might be able to do this.nnthank younnErikn

Hi,n Thank you for your reply but in the below youtube link someone has done fatigue analysis for the bolt in the transient, is this the right method?nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYGnm0FpRDkn

HinnIt is not accounting for your whole transient stress history. As we said the fatigue tool has basic functionality and can not do fatigue on a transient stress history.nFor more info, read through the below post that explains this limitation.n/forum/discussion/7495/fatigue-analysis-using-history-datannAll the bestnErikn
