Ansys EmployeeEarlier this year Cadence terminated or modified all existing Cadence Connections programs with ANSYS.
Â
These have been terminated:
- ALinks for EDA and SIwave
- HFSS MCAD
- HFSS Virtuoso link (.anf flow)
- Icepak
- Spaceclaim
The only approved flow is for HFSS 3D Layout. Â
Â
We are actively working on remediation of the other flows.  Â
Â
Â
Our suggested action is:Â Â
If any customer reaches out to you and ask questions about this decision, please have them contact their Cadence sales representative. This was solely a Cadence decision and we can't explain their decision process. Our customers should emphasize the importance of the Cadence - ANSYS partnership to their simulation flows and push for Cadence to reconsider their decision.  -

SubscriberI am currently doing above exercise in ANSYS, which was contacted by ANSYS. Currently I am not able to import the ECAD information. I understood that first we need to install trace import extension. So now how can I import these information into my simulation.
