SubscriberHello everyone,Â
I would like to perform a topology optimization in Ansys. I have built the model as shown in the attachment. This model also runs on my PC (Ansys Student 2023 R2) and I get good results. Now I wanted to move it to the server of our university (Ansys Mechanical Enterprise 2023 R2) to refine the mesh and optimize the topology with more computing power. After a short start it aborts the optimization with the following error: "MAPDL solver terminated unexpectedly with error code 3221225477. For more information check solver output." However, the solver output is completely empty. I have already tried to suppress various restrictions and have played around a lot with the settings for the cores/calculation distribution, but I cannot get rid of the error code.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?Â
Many thanks in advance,Â

Ansys EmployeeIs this failure only happening with this particular model or does any model you submit remotely fail this way? Â The error message could be due to excessive use of hardware resources while running large 3D ANSYS MAPDL simulations in batch mode using a High-Performance Computer (HPC).Â

SubscriberEvery topology optimization model I start there ends with the same error code. I also don't use the resources too much, as i said the file with the same settings as on my laptop doesn't work either. The normal static analyses work without any problems.Â
