SubscriberHi,
While I was performing topology optimisation, I wanted to retain mass less than 40%. But the solution failed to converge giving an error message and only retain about 60% of the mass.
My question: Is it possible to transfer the result from the failed optimisation for static stress analysis? I tried to do as shown below but there is no geometry option in static structural.

Forum ModeratorThere are two options for validation, geometry and model. If you choose model validation there will be no geometry cell in the downstream. If you choose geometry, there will be a geometry cell and you can edit the geometry. Another option to get the optimized facet is to export the STL file inside TO by right click on the result and export from the tree. nSeptember 29, 2020 at 2:23 ammahen
SubscriberThanks for your reply. I exactly did that. nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Topology Optimisation Failed to Converge’ is closed to new replies.
