SubscriberHello, is there anyone that can help me with thermosetting composite cure cycle simulation with Ansys Mechanical? I tried the transient thermal and the structural modules, however, the material expands during the heating phase, while it returns in its initial position after the cooling phase without taking into account the polymerization of the material.
In addition, the orthotropic strength properties (Engineering Data -> Plasticity) could help me to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Ansys EmployeeThe ANSYS Composite Cure Simulation (ACCS) tool is specifically designed for this purpose. It enables the analysis of curing processes, such as those used for composite structures.Â
