SubscriberWhen I run 2 thermal simulations and change a boundary condition, for example, the color red = 40 deg changes from color red = 30 deg.Â
How can I keep the color scheme to be consistent between different simulations. I want to more easily compare between simulations using the colors.

You can check 'Colormap Options' in contours panel.Â
You can also try to switch of Auto Range.Â

I can't find "colormap options" or "auto range". I have Ansys 18.2.

AdministratorHello,
If you are using steady state of transient thermal to model your problem, you can simply click on the top and bottom of the color legend (on the min and max values display). This should allow you to modify these min and max values. You can adjust the values according to the legend you want Ansys to display.Â
If you are working with Ansys Fluent, please use the 'color map' options, as per Keyur's advise.

AdministratorHello,
ANSYS steady state thermal will certainly give you an automatic range on your legend. But if you are planning on changing it, you could change the min and max values manually. This is allowed in the tool and is certainly one way to achieve your results.
