I have experimental measurements of temperatures at specific points of a solid body. Now I would like to apply these temperatures to a FE model of that body. So, I imported these temperatures as External Data.
And got this result of imported temperature:

The thing is, that I am not satisfied with the temperature distribution along the body. For e.g. points 3 and 23 I would like the temperature to be the same also between these two points and for the whole width of the body in the transverse direction, and not circular arround the points as it is seen on the figure.
Also I cannot find and any theoretical background on how the temperature is distributed on the model.

SubscriberInstead of mapping the experimental temperatures onto the body, you could make a Thermal model of the experimental setup to predict the temperatures measured in the experiment. You could tune the inputs to the model to minimize the error between the model results and the experimental results.

SubscriberThe thing is, that I want to map the experimentaly measured temperatures on the body, without a previous thermal model.
I tried some options of the load distribution settings and found this to do better work (Mapping control: manual, weighting: Kriging , transfer type: Volumetric):
