SubscriberI recently obtained a 30-day evaluation license for Thermal Desktop, and after successfully installing AutoCAD, Thermal Desktop, and the Ansys license manager / license server, I am still unable to open Thermal Desktop due to "unable to get a license".  (I currently have a student AutoCAD license, so am able to open AutoCAD independently with no issue.)I am successfully able to run a license server with a correctly-generated Thermal Desktop license file, but when I attempt to "use a network license" in AutoCAD, specifying the correct port@hostname, it claims the Thermal Desktop network license is not available.I have let the license server .exe's through the server firewall, but it still hasn't helped.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated – thanks! -

Ansys EmployeeYou will need to enter your license server (or local host) hostname in the Ansys License Settings application, and use 1055 for the Port. To find this application, you will need to install SpaceClaim (aka Discovery), which can be found on the Thermal Desktop download page.Â
After installing SpaceClaim/Discovery, you will find Ansys License Settings in WINDOWS START MENU > ANSYS 202x RxÂ
