Ansys EmployeeHi,Â
It seems this equation is written somewhere. Could you please let me know where it is located?
Thanks

SubscriberHi,
The equation is already in the picture.
However I have already asked this question and that is your answer.
Here is the equation again;
Is*sin(2*pi*fre*Time+theta-2*pi/3)
Many thanks

Ansys EmployeeHi,
I was asking about the location of the current expression. In the expression you shared, Theta is an intrinsic variable. However, you can create a new variable called Theta_rad, where you simply convert the units from degrees to radians. Then, you can use Theta_rad in the current excitation expression.
Another option is to define your own angle variable, as shown in the installation example IM_PM_toolkit. In that example, a variable Theta_deg is created and defined in degrees, followed by Theta_rad to convert the units. If you prefer, you can follow the same procedure used in the IM_PM_toolkit → IPM model. You can find this model by navigating to Desktop tab → Open Examples → Maxwell → Electric Machines.
Please note that in Maxwell, Theta and Theta_deg are treated as independent variables.

Hi,
Thank you for your explanation.
I know how to convert deg to rad.
I was not asking general unit of theta. I asked the unit of it in the equation.
And you said that theta is in deg.
And my question was how can theta in that equation be in deg while the second part is in rad ?
Let me kindly repeat my question;
Is theta in the equation in deg or rad ?
Many thanks
