Hi friends - I am working in the analysis of hydrodynamic analysis of dolphin - In this trail simulation - I set a boundary condition of dolphin swim in a Pool - I set all surrounding as free wall - open is at 1 atm relative pressure - Also i assign a local co-ordinate system fo Dolphin - There is no error in Ansys cfx - but i got an error at solving a file - the error i got is 

 

"Update failed for the Solution component in Fluid Flow (CFX).  The solver failed with a non-zero exit code of : 2"

 

Kindly help me to resolve the issuse

This is my first case - the Robotic dolphin swim inside a water tank - based on that i assign a boundary condition - there is no error in CFX - Pre setup - but while comes to solver I got a "Non-Zero Exit code of 2"

What about the out file of CFX? Any hints there?

Dear sir,

Sorry for my mistake, Due to more memory Ansys file i can't upload it - But i considered two case

1. dolphin as a solid domain & inside a Swing tank fluid domain with a moving velocity about local co-ordinate Coord 1 - 

2. Dolphin as a solid domain inside a sea - fluid domain with a moving velocity about local coordinate 1

 

In both cases - No error is shown in CFX Pre - Boundry set up - but when I click start run - it shows 

The solver failed with a non-zero exit code of : 2

Just tell us what you have in the outfile as additional message. Ansys staff do not look into any attachments

Try to move the dolphin instead of the fluid domain
