I set up the settings for restart in the static structure as in figure 1, after that I want to continue the calculation after clicking on the STOP button (without making any changes to the model in the meantime), and I chose a sub-step before the last step of the convergence calculation. But it appears that the restart point is invalid, why is this?

Hi,
There can be multiple reasons for the solver to remove/modify restart points.
You can check out the following links about restart points in Ansys and see if they have something that can help you out:
