SubscriberHello! I have a problem with the CFD part. I built a model in Solidworks. The wall, pressure jump, and all else are all surface. There's a cylinder inside the model made by surface but it is solid in Ansys. I meshed it but when I want to set the parameter in setup. Most parts of the model disappeared, just the cylinder there. I'm so confused about that.

Forum ModeratorCan you post an image of the mesh through the domain? Use a cut plane.

Forum ModeratorI don't think you've got a volume mesh in the rest of the domain. Fluent (and CFX) will see the volume mesh on the cylinder and throw away the meshed surfaces as they're not valid. You need to create the volumes in DM or SpaceClaim and ensure the baffles are retained.
