I am using Ansys Motion to simulate vehicle dynamics and tire-road interactions. But the drive train toolkit, links toolkit, and car toolkit are greyed out in workbench, and we have verified our ANSYS licensing includes Ansys Motion (Motion, Drivetrain, Links, Easy Flex, STEP Translator, Parasolid Translator, Catia)

Hi,

The car toolkit is not supported in workbench motion. Please use Motion standalone to work with the car toolkit.

Do I need to run a separate installation to be able to use the standalone version? I do have motion Pre and Post.

If you have motion pre and post, then this is standalone. You can run your analysis here. Please note that Motion Pre is different from the workbench GUI.

Hello, I found that in this tutorial the toolkits are activated in workbench, I mean if there're any way can do that?

Beacause I've already done part of my works in workbench.

Hi, I still don't recommend using the Car Toolkit in the workbench because it is a beta feature. However, if you really want to use it, then you have to activate it, as shown below.

Are the drivetrain and link toolkits available to you? If you do not have any toolkit availability, that means you do not have the toolkit licenses. Please check your license file.
