SubscriberHi,
I am looking to analyze the behavior of a composite material. I would like to know the difference between the stress generated on ansys ACP and the Von-Mises stress obtained on Mechanical.Â
I have a first element of answer, maybe this is due to the fact that a Von-Mises stress concerns much more an isotropic material behavior.Â
Someone has more informations about this....

I am also interested in this and I also can’t see the suggested discussion.
Eventually, I am trying to understand why there is a difference between the results of Normal stress in X-axis of the solution coordinate system (Bottom) of the Entire Section calculated by Mechanical and the stress S1 (Bottom) of the Entire Model calculated by ACP. They are close but not the same, as it can be seen in the two figures below. Thank you in advance for your help.
