Temperature jump across fluid-solid interface in CHT simulation

  Hello all,
  
  I am running a conjugate heat transfer case of a heated curved closed channel through which coolant flows. Also, I suspect that in this case it is important to mention that the channel wall is rough.
  
  Upon inspection of the converged results, I noticed that there is a temperature jump (discontinuity) across the solid-fluid interface which is relatively large in some parts of the domain. Why is this so?

  Can you please add a contour plot for cross section showing that with mesh lines displayed?

  I apologize for the delay, got distracted by other problems. This is the situation at hand.
  
  I would like to know whether a situation like this completely nullifies a well converged solution or is it just an artefact of mesh resolution at the interface?
