SubscriberHello everyone,
I was wondering, since it is not possible to calculate the temperature distribution inside a particle that is being heated from a fluid (using the fluent-rocky coupling), because there is no mesh inside the particles in rocky, is there any other way of doing it? maybe exporting some results to mechanical?
Has anyone had any experience in something similar?
Thank you in advance.

A possible outcome for this situation is by using the Solver:API (from Rocky client, click Help | Manuals | API:Solver Manual for more details) to implement specific model and/or discretization, as done in the referred paper:
Aguirre, J.A. and Almeida, L.C. CFD-DEM coupled simulation of fluidized beds with improved lumped formulation for heat transfer. DOI: 10.1108/HFF-04-2023-0199

best regards,
