SubscriberI am running a two way FSI coronary artery bifurcation simulation with artery being a hyperelastic material. I wanted to use quasi-newtonian stabalisation method so i extracted the system coupling and case file for both fluent and transient and did the necessary steps required to run the simulation through external system coupling gui(not inside workbench).i got results in EnSight format. Is there a way that i view result in CFD post and in mechanical post processor like i would have i,f i would have ran the system coupling in workbench itself.
Thank you

AdministratorHello Can you save the results in a different format? .cdat or .cas (or.dat) would work in CFD Post.

AdministratorHello Are they all in the same folder? You should be able to read the .dat files. Of course, you will need to have at least one corresponding .cas file in the same folder. Can you share a screenshot of the files you are attempting to read as well as the error message?

AdministratorAnother method you can try is to Auto export .cdat files during your simulation run periodically when you set up your problem in Fluent. This could be a workaround. But for this, you will need to rerun your model. Just an FYI!

Ansys EmployeePlease see the following tutorial for how to load System Coupling EnSight results into EnSight. EnSight is the preferred post-processor for FSI now. It can also load Fluent results (cas/dat, cas/cdat) and Mechanical results (.rst) https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v221/en/sysc_tut/sysc_tut_gen_postprocessing.html
