SubscriberHi,
Â
I wrote the code in a structure group to draw my simulation by embedding the script file here, however when I tested, it showed syntax error on line 140, which referred to just the -copy;- command.Â
I also embeded the other script file, which the language is almost the same (a very small different in a detail of waveguide structure), but showed no error at all.
And what is Line 0: syntax error?
Thank you!

Ansys EmployeeHi Alisa,
Are you selecting any object(s) before using the script command? The Line 0 syntax error usually occurs when there is an issue with the overall organization/structure of the script. For example, a missing opening or closing bracket '{','}'. I will suggest you to check each bracket and make sure it has a closing bracket. Please let me know if the error is still not fixed.Â

SubscriberHi Amrita,
Thank you so much.
I have actually checked everything and also tried copying the script from the other file that worked, but still, the syntax error remained.Â
Â
However, when I tried copying this script into a new file and saved, it worked just fine.
Â
Â
Best regards,
AlisaÂ
