SubscriberI want to perform steady-state flow simulation in 2D open channel using VOF model. Can I use the SYMMETRY boundary condition at the top wall of the open channel? The image of the model is attached. I am a beginner so somebody please kindly help me out. I have used pressure inlet and pressure outlet at the top wall of the open channel but nothing worked.Â

Forum ModeratorYou can, as long as there aren't any significant flow restrictions down the channel.Â
