SubscriberHello,
This model worked before I add symmetry to make it in a quarter model. However, errors came up as shown below after making symmetry: Solver initialization error and An error occurred when the post processor attempted to load a specific result. Can anyone please help me to figure out the solution?
Thank you!

SubscriberAdditional update.
After I increased the mesh size and solved the model again, it worked. Can anyone please help me to reduce the element size without the initialization errors?
Thank you!

SubscriberIf you are using the free Student license for ANSYS, there is a limit on the number of nodes and elements in the model that the software will solve. In the newer versions it is 128,000 nodes or elements.
When you are below that limit, everything works normally, when you are above that limit, you get an initialization error.
You fix this problem by using a paid Research license for ANSYS. Ask your professor, the University may have that available in some lab.

SubscriberThank you for the reply, but I'm using a paid research license for ANSYS. Do you know any other way to solve the problem?
Thanks
