SubscriberFor my thesis, I aim to investigate the impact of utilizing corrugated tubes on flow dynamics and heat transfer within heat exchangers. Nevertheless, meshing this intricate geometry has proven to be more challenging than initially presumed. Due to the tight radii of the tube, the mesh needs to be very fine. However, despite employing a fine mesh, gaps emerge and I can't get a conformal mesh between the fluid and solid region.

Could anyone offer advice on how to mesh this geometry properly?

Ansys EmployeeHello Jakob,Â
are you setting Share Topology at the CAD level? Doing so, along with a Curvature Sizing control in Fluent Meshing should help for this
