SubscriberHi, I'm trying to do a simulation but need to optimise it first. I am simulating an intake manifold, that was imported from Solidworks as a step file. I have volume extracted each outlet and inlet, and defined each outlet singularly in volume extract (but would need to do the inner and outer runners as pairs). But, when I define the inlet and outlet I get the error messages in the image below, and also get surface bodies will be excluded from simulation. **FYI this is in Ansys Discovery** In additiom, to it stating I need to add flow outlets, when I have already defined them. (For clarify there are alot of fillets etc that may be causing the issue, but unsure).

Forum ModeratorHi,Â
From the description it looks like the volume created is not correct. May be the step file imported has surface bodies and it was not watertight. Make sure those surface bodies are solidfied and then extract the fluid domain.Â
After that you can try defining the flow conditions.Â
Regards,
DevendraÂ
