Hi community,
I have modeled a 1D line model of a strut for one end fixed and other end hinged case. One end (vertex) has fixed support applied and other end (vertex) has remote displacement with only Rot. Z free, other DOFs are 0. I've got the results for static structural analysis but for eigenvalue buckling analysis I get this error: "SUBSPACE solver failure. The assembled stress stiffness matrix contains all zeroes. No load factor solution is possible."
How to troubleshoot this error?
Regards

Hi
Can you show a bit more what you are doing (static) and what you trying to do (modal) - explain much more and include images. In that way members of the forum might give some more feedback.
Thank you
