SubscriberI apologize for bothering you again. I asked a related question in another module some days ago, but never received a reply. This question is very important to me and is directly related to the topic, therefore, I have closed my previous question and am here to ask it again.
I would like to ask you, when calculating the force of a local member in a whole model (consisting of shell and beam units), I would like to analyze the local member (using solid units) by sub-modeling technique. The structure is of concrete material, arranged with steel bars and prestressing tendons simulated by rein264.The help document states that the sub-modeling technique can only be used for solid and shell units. How should the submodel be created in APDL? How are the boundaries imposed?
