Stress only a part of piece

  Hi everybody
  
  To improve my model in a connection, I was recommended to join elements by Boolean function in Ansys, but I need to get results only from the chord (red circle) , How can I get the rsults?

  1. you can manually select the elements which are required and scope your results to these scoped elements
  
  2. create a named selection based on worksheet for the required elements based on the location and scope the result to that named selection.
