SubscriberThe part below is attached by the cylindrical surfaces marked on the screenshot. It can freely spin in both directions, but cannot move radialy or axialy. Given forces are applied to the part. I want to simulate the stress and displacement of this part for further optimization, but I cannot properly bound the part (it either doesn't spin freely or the simulations don't cumpute because there are ''not enough constrains to prevent rigid body movement''. Could someone please help?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You can try to model this in transient analysis for the same set of inputs.
More help on setting up a transient analysis can be found here:

If you still want to solve with static analysis, try using displacement based loading with large deflection option.

SubscriberTo solve this in Static Structural, delete Force 3 and apply a Remote Displacement to the faces used by Force 3. Set X=0 to prevent rigid body axial motion of the part and set Y=0 to prevent rigid body free rotation of the part about the cylindrical supports. After you solve, you can Probe the Reaction Force for the Remote Displacement and if you did your static equilibrium calculation correctly, you should see the 1000 lbf in the results.
