      Hello everyone,

Does anyone try to import STL file into Fluent for further analysis? Would you please show me how to do that?

First I tried to import STL file into Fluent Meshing:

Then when I tried to switch to solution it showed like this:

Does anyone know how to import STL file into Fluent for airflow analysis?

Please import STL in Flunet Meshing. You can use watertight workflow to generate volume mesh and then switch to Fluent solver.

Please go through help manual for more details

      Please check following videos

      Hi Keyur,

I tried that but Fluent meshing showed something like this. It does not support STL.

Do you know anyway to counteract this?

Quick workaround - open STL in SpaceClaim. Save .scdoc file. Import scdoc file in Fluent Meshing.
