SubscriberHi
I export the mesh at Mechanical to STL file. The units that i use are mm but the STL file is in m. So i have to scale up x1000 the STL file at the 3d-printer. What is the problem? Any suggestion?

Forum ModeratorIt's probably a units clash in the stl export: the printer software should be able to deal with it.Â

SubscriberHi
I can not find any units clash in the stl export. The 3d slicer fails after the scaling

Forum ModeratorI may not have been clear. You're running Mech in mm however some of the non-ANSYS export tools expect to be sent m: depending on the interaction you may find the model dimension is out by a factor of 1000: we often see the reverse from CAD where the design in mm is imported in m. Have you ever seen a mixing tank that is 9km high?Â
I expect the exported stl is OK. Most segmentation software can cope with scaling, but I expect this must be done before slicing.Â
