SubscriberI have been trying to do analysi of stent , there are two processes involved , crimping and expansion of stent. For crimping I have applied a displacement condition on crimper to compress stent which is working fine but during expansion i need to expand the crimped stent to double of its original diameter, which is not working at all. I dont why it is not working , its just the reverse of crimping but with more displacement. I have tried changing mesh size and time step , still I m getting solution failed to converge error most of the time. It is only able to expand stent to a certain diameter but than the simulation stops.

Ansys EmployeeHi Tanay,
Can you check the solve.out for the error message? Check the Newton-Raphson residuals plot. It will help you to find the location with high residuals. Also, please share more details about the boundary conditions used.
