      The bottom of the plate will be epoxied to concrete, so I don't want it move in my simulation. How can I "fix" the bottom face? I've tried using a compression only support, but the solver was unable to convege on a solution. Maybe there is something else wrong with my model.

      Delete the Compression Only support and use a Fixed Support.

        I want to be able to see if the plate deflects upwards in tension. Doesn't a fixed support fix the face in all directions?

      Yes, just like epoxy fixes a face in all directions.
