Perhaps running a nonlinear analysis using the static system as here (wrinkling/buckling of plate) – perhaps needs a quasi-static, and or nonlinear stabilization (search in the help manual or here in the forum for these 2 words – they aid with convergence when parts buckle or wrinkle, say for a thin sheet of metal).
