SubscriberHello,
I wanted to model the concrete plate interaction, so I modeled the plate as a shell on which springs model the concrete contact.
My question is as follows:
I used combin14 to create linear springs only in each direction but I don't know what I write as a value for the stiffness of the concrete. According to me, the stiffness is in N/m. On the other hand, on a PDF where it uses the WINKLER model, I found that the stiffness of the concrete block is in N/m3. Can you explain this difference?Â
My second question is that my modeling is correct I created nodes at a distance from the plate after I linked the nodes by combin14 element, knowing that I wanted my spring to work only in compression do you have any ideas?Â
thanksÂ
