Hi all,
I am currently working on a model consisting of a steel bar subjected to a pressure wave on one side and supported by a spring on the other. However, it seems that the spring is not functioning correctly, as it penetrates the steel bar.
Could you please provide any guidance on how to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your help!

Hi
The dedormation scale factor is set to 24 - set it to 1 true scale:

Hi Erik,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I’ve attached an image with the true scale to confirm the penetration issue between the spring and the bar.
Additionally, I ran several simulations, adjusting the spring stiffness, but it did not affect the displacement of the rod. This further suggests that the interaction between the rod and the spring is not functioning correctly.
Do you have any insights on how I can proceed to resolve this issue?
