SubscriberSpaceClaim is not splitting faces on import, the program that exported the geometry is doing that (or the neutral file requires that).
SpaceClaim can repair split faces on the Repair tab by clicking on the Extra Edges button. After you do that, also click on the Split Edges button.

Ansys EmployeeAs Peter correctly mentioned SC doesn't split the faces on import. Please use the repair tool as Peter mentioned.Â
In addition to this, Can you try to import the geometry in the SC after unchecking the "Improved data imported" option? l am not sure how much it will be helpful but you can try this and let us know.Â
Best Regards,
Sampat
