SubscriberHi,
I'm looking for some information as to why a dent/spike like this is occuring in my results.
For some background, in this example this is at a node that is apart of a frictionless contact and goes away if bonded but this is an issue I've had before with bonded contacts as well. This dent is not on my mesh only occurs in my results and inside of the deformation result it says the same value as other nodes around this point.
Thanks

Forum ModeratorHello,
Are you viewing the results in true scale? Is there a load/ boundary condition being applied at a very small region/ node? What is the stress distribution if you refine the mesh here?
Regards,
