[SpaceClaim] STEP file size using Converter.exe

I'm able to take a 3Meg SCDOC file and export it as a 2Meg STEP file if I uncheck the Split Periodic Faces under the General File options export section.

But if I run that and other files through the Converter.exe utility the example file is 180Megs.

Is there a way for Converter to use the same export settings as SpaceClaim?

I have thousands of files that need to be exported, and the filesizes are extremely large otherwise.
