SubscriberHi all,
I am attempting to export my geometry from Spaceclaim into an Abaqus friendly format (ACIS, .sat, .stp), but no matter what I do I get the following error in Abaqus after attempting an import:
Â
Has anyone utilize Abaqus before and figured out how to best approach? I've tried different protocol #, etc.. Perhaps I'm missing something simple here?

SubscriberWhat version of ABAQUS/Pre are you using? Is it an older version?
One failure mode for moving geometry between systems is when the version of the neutral file on the exporting system is newer than the version of the neutral file that the importing system can read.
The newest version of SpaceClaim can export V29 of the ACIS kernel, but an older version of ABAQUS/Pre might be using V27 and can't read V29.
Find out what version of ACIS is being exported by ABAQUS and export that version from SpaceClaim.
