SpaceClaim 2021R2 installation failure

      Hello,

      could you please advise me why I can't install SC2021R2 successfully? The installation eventually takes place, but the product cannot be licensed, probably the licensing folder is missing.

      SC 2023R1 can be installed and licensed, but unfortunately the customer is not eligible for a higher version with his license.

       

      I also tried to license via command line, but unfortunately I don't have the correct path to the ansysls_client.exe file.

       

      The software has been downloaded from your archive.

      The log file is attached.

      Hello Lukas

      Can you once make sure that the files are extracted from the zip folder correctly and the installation is done by running 'run as administrator' and they have the admin rights? Also make sure they have enough space in the drive where they are installing.Try clean reinstall.

        Regarding the first paragraph, of course I have checked everything, including the path without accents and also with Admin rights. As I wrote, I installed version 2023R1 with no problem.

        So I will try to install version 2021R1 again and let you know.

        Hi Devendra Badgujar 

        Unfortunately, that didn't help.

        The problem was with Windows permissions, the installation did not create (copy) some necessary files from the installation folder to Program Files.

        After some complicated Windows setup and with the help of an IT Windows specialist, the software has finally been successfully installed and started.
