Source setup error – The simulation was working previously

      Hello,

I'm doing a 3D magnetostatic simulation using the full geometry of a motor, therefore, I don't have any master-slave boundaries. It was previously working, and then it stopped in the 6th adaptive pass. The following error message was displayed:

       Maxwell3DDesign1 (Magnetostatic)

[error] Source setup error, possible reasons are 1) The solved region is not singly connected. If any circle in the solved region can not be freely shrunk to a point, then solved region is not regarded as singly connected. 2) The master and slave boundaries are separated. For this case, “Zero Tangential H Field?boundary condition need to be assigned on one boundary connecting master and slave boundaries. (11:54:55 abr 29, 2021)

[error] Simulation completed with execution error on server: Local Machine. (11:54:56 abr 29, 2021)

I've tried to simulate it again, and it is aborting even before complete the 1st adaptive pass. What does this error means and how can I check where the problem is?

      Thank you

You can right-click on the results and do cleanup solutions close the design and delete any locked files from the project directory.
also, delete the temporary files and cache from the computer.
Now reopen the design and analyze.
If this did not work please share some screenshots of your model and setup.

      Hi Team ANSYS Support,

I have exactly the same error. i have tried the above steps but still the same issue. kindly suggest the steps to overcome this failure.

*simulation validation check completed without any warnings and errors.

      Thank You.
