Solver pivot warning

Hello everyone. I am facing a solver pivot warning problem. Help me in this. Here are details of model.

I have made a structure from Line body. Line body is made by using 3D curve option and uploading a coordinate file containing line first and last point. Then to connect the crossing lines i have to use the joint function and to use a joint function i made a temperory surface and supress it.
Also there is a line structure from same coordinate file (as shown in yellow in picture) which is not connect to main structure, which i have use later but for now I have suppress these line body.(I am telling this because i dont know if this cause problem).
Then i form a single part containg all bodies to share topology(this is what i think!).
      All these in DM
In Mechanical, I give fixed support BC to all lowest points and applied some forces.

      Here are the images

      Hi Vaibhav,

Based on the details you've provided about your model, it seems you are working with a structure formed from line bodies and are experiencing difficulties with solver pivot warnings after applying fixed supports and forces in Ansys Mechanical. Please check the below methods which can help you to find the issue.

      1. Check for Unconnected Parts: Perform a Modal analysis to check if all the beams are connected properly.

      2. Check if share topology is correctly defined in the model.

Are you getting issues after adding the yellow structure to your original model or before adding that structure?

      Thanks,

Thanks for the answer. There is one line body which is not covered in the joints, thats why it was giving error. I have corrected it.

One more thing I want to ask, how can we perform buckling analysis to the columns of these line structures?

      Hi Vaibhav,

It is great that your issue is resolved. It would be great if you could start a new thread for a new query. It will be easy for other users to search with similar queries. I will close this thread and you can start a new thread for your other question.

      Thanks,

      Akshay Maniyar
